Thanks Megan, I knew it was you. Anyway, for the millions of beady eyes looking elsewhere, there will not be a an update on this very blog.

I was watching the "Collegiate Cheer and Dance Championship" on CBS. How can a lazy lazy Saturday afternoon be filled with such pep? As one would naturally think, there are a lot of funny funny things that you can comment on, like the sports announcer style commentary. "And now USC are entering the pom-pom section with a lot of momentum!"'

"That's right, Bob, you can see how the intensity of these girls really effects their execution."

"Indeed. It takes a lot of practice to pull of that kind of move."

"And lisa executes a triple-double pom-pom projected back-flip straight into the End Zone."

"Its this level of play that we are surely going to see more of in the play-offs."

Texas style government has really got me thinking...

It isn't as if there was nothing more to do. Far, far from it. I am honestly bombarded with inane duties to perform. Duties in the sense that not doing them would be an injustice to myself. And yet, I find a way, to not do any of them. I have to file with INS for Optional Practical Training, which basically translates to a freebie summer in the US on some job or other than may or may not do justice to the title of the application I have to fill out. No, I am sorry, make it two applications. One to get authorization to do the other, and the other, well, to do the following.

Well! This is what happens when you put too much milk in your Mac-n-cheese! Jeeze Louise!

Is this the title we have been waiting for? Or is it?

It is official, Kuwaiti boy is going to war, shoulder to shoulder with your boys. God bless him, he must not have any kids my age. It is funny, I am one of Sheikh Mohammed's biggest fans, I met him personally. Now he is the one telling me I am going to war, calling those trained mercenaries in the U.S. Army "boys", and calls us rag-tag drafted civilians the "Kuwaiti army". Whatever I say will definately do me no good, heck, I am going to war it seems. Who cares, the Al-Sabah's might be signing their own dethronement, they are probably the weakest monarchy in the Gulf. Well, the Khalifa's have been loosing chutzpah recently too. We don't want this war, we won't stop you, just don't send us out there. You've done it with South Korea, South Vietnam, and I guess they should call us after the war starts South Iraq. It's within keeping of American cultural values; you guys need a funny short native with a white helmet speaking gibberish for your war movies and sit-coms. A rehashed MASH, set in 1990 war torn basrah, but indirectly commenting on the current war with Iran. I see it now.

I am also happier than ever that I am informed by CNN what is happening to me, again. It happened in 1990, now its happening again. I trust CNN more than my own mother. Mother lies, but CNN has Crossfire.
